Why Granny Believes in God

I didn’t, when I was a kid. The whole idea seemed absurd. Not that there couldn’t be something bigger than me in the universe. That was indeed possible. But being of (mostly) Scottish heritage, my idea of God was a “hairy thunderer”, doubtless based on the Norse god, Thor. Seemed ridiculous.
