“A tie is like kissing your sister.”
No this phrase is not the official state motto of Georgia, rather a quote from an old football coach named Duffy Daugherty. The legendary Michigan State coach would be happy to know that his sport, college football, no longer has ties, while the professional version, the NFL still has them from time to time.
