Lies, damnable lies and statistics. It was Mark Twain who first grouped those three terms under ways that humans bear false witness.
In last week’s overtime loss to the Jets, New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel had stellar statistics: 30 of 41 passing for 400 yards and three touchdowns. He became only the second QB in Patriots’ history - Tom Brady was the other - to have a 400-yard game. ...
