About AdCastic!
Monday, June 9, 2008What is AdCastic! ? Let me break it down for you:
- “Ad” comes from the word advertising - the industry I work in
- “cast” comes from the word podcast - a series of audio files found and distributed online about a specific topic/theme
- “ic” comes from the word fantastic - which is how I hope people will come to describe my show as I become more experienced over time
This fun and upbeat podcast is targeted to anyone who is interested in critiques of advertising and/or marketing campaigns. Each show will feature 1-3 brands, both from traditional and non-traditional executions. I will talk about why I like or dislike the communication, if I think it is effective and relevant, and where I saw it. In case you are interested in checking them out, I will provide the call-to action verbally on the show and provide the information and links in my show notes.
If you have any suggestions or want to hear about a specific brand, feel free to leave a comment on this page or send me an email at adcastic@hotmail.com.
