As I began this morning’s ride, I had a palpable sense of anticipation. I knew today I would see the Golden Gate Bridge. Although I never expressed it out loud, I was looking forward to it. Somewhere in the back of my mind I considered it a significant point on my journey. Similar to crossing a state border.
