To the opera yesterday for he opening night of the ENO's new production of Turandot. Now if you go to the ENO you can expect an
innovative and often controversial production. Sometimes these work well, sometimes they are a little over the top, but they are always interesting. I never understand why people are surprised by this, but there is a nasty cabal of retrogressive opera goers to turn up on...
