Raiders Kickoff Pigeon, Video. I talked to an animal psychologist and he said that the pigeon was drawn to the Raiders formation, much like a flock of birds. He flew down the field with the team, much like a flock. He stopped when they stopped. He said that he is surprised it does not happen much. ( disclaimer: I have never talked to an animal psychologist. )
