WHO knew? That Oakton library quietly goes LEED Silver. The best features that benefit the county in terms of
savings, are 1) cuts energy bill by 26% producing a saving of $10,000 a year, and 2) cuts water consumption by more than 41%, savings of $5,000 a year. And in '08 it's certified by National Wildlife Federation as backyard habitat.
