Oakton Library Receives LEED Silver

WHO knew? That Oakton library quietly goes LEED Silver. The best features that benefit the county in terms of savings, are 1) cuts energy bill by 26% producing a saving of $10,000 a year, and 2) cuts water consumption by more than 41%, savings of $5,000 a year. And in '08 it's certified by National Wildlife Federation as backyard habitat.
