Weezer Snuggie Is the Perfect Gift for That Annoying Little Hipster Doofus in Your Life
Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Ah, Weezer. How I hearted them so very long ago — I would honestly throw the Weezer/Weezer album pretty high up there on “defining albums of my douchebaggy little childhood” along with
Ten, Nevermind, Siamese Dream and a few others. No, Weezer’s not as cool as Pearl Jam or Nirvana (and never will be) but they’ve possessed some longevity that most bands can’t manage (looking at you, Candlebox!) and they still crank out pretty good music.
Plus, they’re weird. And who doesn’t love weird, right? Anywho, the whole point of this is that Weezer’s new album, Ratitude, is on sale and for some really bizarre reason they’re coupling it with a Snuggie. So, yeah, Rivers Cuomo would have just won back my heart were it not for the fact that the album by itself is $3.99 and the album + Snuggie is $30 (don’t get me started on the fact that the Raditude Deluxe CD + Exclusive Weezer Zebra Snuggie + Photo Book is $50). Oh yes, that and the fact that the Snuggie can go F itself, since everyone knows the Slanket was here first.
Promotional vid after the jump.
