Casino mogul Steve Wynn has dropped out of the bidding to make over Queens' Aqueduct racetrack into a Vegas-style casino/resort/entertainment playpen. The departure of Wynn's "special sauce" comes right after Gov. Paterson sent a letter to the bidders asking each to provide proof they can pay $200 million upfront within 30 days of being selected. There are two favorites remaining: NYC commercial landlord giant SL Green and Penn National Gaming. The three men in a room will decide on the winning developer within two weeks.
