Child obesity rates 'may be slowing down'
Wednesday, November 4, 2009The recent sharp rise in child obesity may be about to level off, according to research released by the National Heart Forum (NHF) on Tuesday. The NHF, an alliance of more than 60 national heart organizations, compared predictions drawn from previous data with information obtained in England between 2000 and 2007 to produce a new forecast for obesity levels in 2020.
