I’m looking to hire a part time Law Office Administrator and Bookkeeper. The full description and application instructions are as follows:

Position: Contract Law Office Administrator & Bookkeeper.
Hours & Pay Rate: Part time, 20-25 hours a week. Flexible days/times. Remote working a possibility for certain tasks. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Position Description: We are seeking a law office administrator and bookkeeper for our growing law practice in San Francisco. Position the following duties:

Bookkeeping: accounts receivables, customer invoicing, vendor management, light collections, online banking, bank deposits, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, budget maintenance and reporting, cash flow maintenance, weekly financial reporting, Timesolv (www.timesolv.com) and Quickbooks customer database maintenance, Timesolv and Quickbooks synchronization, liaising with outside accountant, and filing.

Administrative: all administrative tasks including ordering supplies, filing, managing conflicts database, researching and documenting office procedures, maintaining attorney continuing education records, managing future office moves, oversight of website content and updates, and making occasional travel arrangements. As we grow, HR-related duties are expected including payroll processing via outside payroll vendor and HR tasks.

Requirements:

Ø Minimum of 2 years experience using QuickBooks accounting system
Ø Experience with Timesolv.com timekeeping and invoicing system preferred
Ø Experience in law office administrative activities (legal secretarial, administrative assistant, law clerk, etc.) preferred
Ø Candidates should be extremely organized and comfortable with managing diverse tasks simultaneously
Ø Excellent written and verbal skills
Ø College Degree in business administration or finance preferred.
Ø Comfort and experience working with Apple Mac computers preferred (or sincere enthusiasm to learn if unfamiliar with Mac platform). (Note: Firm is an all-Mac office, including all bookkeeping functions.)
Ø Comfort communicating via email, IM, telephone conferences and the like.
Ø Comfort working independently on projects, with oversight from attorney/founder
Ø Ideal candidates will have a self-starter attitude and desire to grow with the organization
