Sarah Palin Resigns as Alaska Governor

Sarah Palin officially announced on Friday (July 3) that she will be resigning as governor of Alaska.

The 45-year-old, who was known as ‘Sarah Barricuda’ in high school, will serve as governor until July 26 before she hands the position over to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell.
