Snow Leopard upgrade: what's in it for me?

Last month, I purchased a new Mac mini to help me make accurate comparisons of features and performance between Windows 7 systems and their Mac counterparts. As it turns out, though, my new Mac doesn't support some key new features in Snow Leopard, and if your Mac is more than a year old you might be in the same boat. I've got details in table format.
