This is my first remix. I made it using ableton live. Sound quality might be bad, as I dont have very good equpment, but hopefully youll enjoy it or find it useful somehow.

I remixed this about a year and a half ago and realized — if I had it all to do over…

Made a track around Loving Men. The song is depressing and I hear these happy sounding songs under that mournful voice. no no no…

this part was create with reason 4.

This track uses vocals from C. James and also an unknown (but equally talented) CCMixter artist who will hopefully identify herself, since I can only find an mp3 called vocals. The track is built with purely [emulated] analog sound sources. Now that the pellas been sliced and diced its also Safe For Work - sorry C!

A different take on “Wood Stealer”…..

A remix of my son’s second pella post.
He was playing around with some live morphing effects and got really excited when he found the Cockney 40 year old voice modeling.
Thanks Alex for a really cool track and to allow a trip down memory lane, we both had lots of fun doing this one.
Added the sax and the guitar against JNR going strong.

This music, composed and arranged by myself for a French voice, very emotional and sublime.

i couldnt seem to get the scratches out of the darn vocal track, try if you can to look past that

Amazing vocals. I started playing around with them a couple of days ago and almost thought I had it, then today listened to Loveshadows mix and well kind of realized I might not have it at all, course that doesnt stop me from uploading cos he is he and I am I. Thanks CSM for the vocals—you have an amazing voice.

I couldn’t really leave this one alone. When Ciggi uploaded this track which she based on one of my uploads I started to hear all kinds of things wrong with my original track - and so I started tinkering.

This is largely the same backing track, but I changed a few maj7 chords to min by changing the bass and did a few other tweaks.

This is another one done on the release candidate of Propel...

Let this pella sink in for a while until something took shape in my head.

The vocal line didnt fit what i wanted so everyline is retimed in Ableton 8.

What a tool., what a voice :-)

Sometimes it’s better to just write a song than get caught-up in emotion, and potentially damage a relationship.

Hook up the hydraulics to the Delorean & “..bounce to this…”

I had fun with this one, I was going for that “More Bounce To The Ounce” funk feel… and of course it’s 88 bpm.. >=)

Light Patterns

I took the tasty instrumental tracks that colab made for “Stack o Bitter …” and strung them into a euro-style pop dance-floor mix. I recorded my daughter, Ella, leaving a phone message for a friend and made a little necklace for a Sunday.

I put the little file of her voice/phone message in case anyone wants to use it for something.

Hmm… one of the track I used in this seems to have been removed. I’d spotted a piano work by urmymuse on ccMixter maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. Was inspired to create something from that. Managed to find a few other samples that have not been remixed before (at least, not when I downloaded them).

Its been a while since i have worked on a remix on ccmixter.
