Small community (LECC) and Popular Religious Podcast (Mindspring) comparasion 25.05 20:17

I have a chance to compare the small community church and the most popular religious Podcast: mindspring. lecc http://www.lecc.org/Sermons.htm and mindspring http://lifespringonline.com/sundays/

1. On the lecc site, they have a very simple and direct design. Ordered by time. It is very easy to find out the history of this whole services. Because it is a bilingual church, it also add the subtitle of language after the name of the service to indicate which language the service was delivered. As this is from my church, i have seen how these archived services been used. When i missed one or two services, i will usually come over here find the one i missed to catch up. As i enjoyed to the Pastor’s service so much, i often come to the site and download the service that i love, to keep listen to it again and again.

The cons of these archived servies are first the quality. The record quality is not ideal, very hard to listen. Secondly, is the name and index, only index by date. It is hard to search specific service if needed. Thirdly is also related to index, the voice services has no searching ability. Except from the title, it is impossible to find the right content. Lastly is they don’t have the subscription services on this site. Only stream and download are available not the subscription.

Open mindspring site. It is a complete eye openinging experiences of peaceful traditional message blending high quality new technology.

They provide video, audio, music, tv, pictures, blogs, podcast, etc. pretty much everything!! And just click on any of them, the quality is amazing good. The user interface is very easy to operate, The performance of the UI interaction is very sleek and smooth.

They have  feature: Share this. it opens up 2 tabs: social site and Email. Amazingly on the social site, there is a huge list of the popular social sites: Reddit; facebook; del.icio.us, technorati, yahoo Bookmarks, windows live, slashdot, N4G, Blinklist, ma.gnolia, Digg, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Google Bookmarks, yahoo! My web, Propeller, Newsvine, Mixx, Furl, Mister Wong.  This is an amazing list of coverage.
