Obama Buttons and Pins were still by far the most popular ones. Costing from $2 to $6 you could get them from the official Obama website and from numerous outlets and campaign offices.  They were introduced it as a part of donation campaigning and have had a positive effect and increased the popularity of Barack Obama and his resulting win. The Obama camp (and the manufacturers) gained millions of dollars through the sale of these buttons and pins.

In addition to these items, once the election result was known the President Obama promotional machine went into high gear with numerous other items being released including the Obama Inaugural Dollar which was released by the US Mint and has rapidly become a must-have item for coin collection and sentimential historians alike.
